The Sorcerers' Crossing: Four of Me and the Luminous Net
By Eugene Raphael · Featured Night Report · Liminal Light Lab
This post bridges two sections of the site: Castaneda's Dreaming and OBE & Energy Body.
Technique: none planned; a spontaneous waking during an audiobook. Outcome: separation from the body, a view of my sleeping body wrapped in luminous fibers, and an encounter with an inorganic being.
Waking into the pass
I woke up hours after falling asleep with my earphones still in. The audiobook of Taisha Abelar's The Sorcerers' Crossing had reached chapter 11, where Clara teaches a pass: pulling apart the lines of energy like sliding doors, stepping through, and turning around 180 degrees.
I felt split down the middle. My arms began performing the pass seemingly on their own, with no thoughts at all. I saw the threads, pulled them apart, stepped up into the air, and spun. My left side did the same thing, so there were four of me.
Looking down at my body
Then I was hovering three or four feet above the bed, looking down at my sleeping body, sleep mask still on. My body was wrapped in whitish, luminous ropes of fiber, and the room was lit with white light.
A shadow inorganic being, about eight feet tall with a cone-shaped head, stood there watching.
My dream body dissolved into an amorphous blob of energy held in a luminous net. The right side felt tight, compact, and serious. The left side felt slow, steady, and not fully contained.
Coming back
An urge from the left side made me return. I reversed the pass and felt the fibers unwind. I asked the being a question, but I didn't hear an answer.
The next morning I bought the book, and I felt charged for days.
Takeaways
The passes can happen on their own. My arms knew the movement before my mind did.
Right and left are different. The two sides of the energy body felt like two distinct beings, and it was the left side that called me back.
Reverse what you did. Undoing the pass let me feel the fibers unwind and return cleanly.
